Lily Clarke
I am one of 5+ siblings, with the + representing the many children my family has fostered for periods of time over the years. These children are some of the biggest motivators for my mission to improve lives beyond the medical field. I love supporting children through data insights.
Early in her career journey, Lily met her first love, mathematics. This eventually led her to pursue a Bachelor of Medical Mathematics at the University of Wollongong, where she learned the math techniques involved in modeling population health and epidemiology. She then found her strength in statistics, ML and AI.
Lily has helped medical professionals prioritize at-risk sepsis patients; assisted safety workers in identifying child abuse and neglect; helped large government departments navigate the analytics lifecycle; and used ML to screen for breast cancer. She is an avid participant in community engagement work to support the next generation of future technologists. Lily has participated by running the annual Analytics is Everywhere and Analytics Lifecycle webinars for the SAS Academic team for three years and supporting the partner program.
