Voice your opinions about data mining products

It is that time of the year again! Rexer Analytics, a data mining consulting firm, is conducting their fourth annual data mining survey. The survey collects preferences, views and interests of data mining professionals (e.g. data miners, statisticians, modelers, analysts, etc.). SAS is not the sponsor of the survey.

The survey includes our flagship data mining product, SAS Enterprise Miner. It also includes Base SAS and SAS/STAT products from statistical analysis perspective. I encourage diverse group of SAS users from different vertical industries, including Education, to participate in the survey. The goal is to have adequate representation of above mentioned SAS products.

Individual responses will be kept completely confidential. No information will be shared with anyone outside of Rexer Analytics. All reporting of the survey findings will be done in the aggregate, and no findings will be written in such a way as to identify any of the participants. If you're interested, a summary of the findings can be e-mailed to participants; there will be a place at the end of the survey to leave your e-mail address. If you have any questions or would like to get summary of the findings than please email Rexer Analytics separately. James Taylor did a nice job summarizing last year's survey results on his blog.
