SAS Press to debut new statistical titles at JSM 2011

The 2011 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) will be from July 31-August 3 in Miami Beach. Look for acquisitions editor and SAS Press conference mega-maven Shelley Sessoms at the SAS Publishing booth (#504). Shelley can talk with you about:

  • New and forthcoming statistics-related books from SAS Press, including Statistical Analysis for Business Using JMP by Willbann Terpening; Multiple Comparisons and Multiple Tests Using SAS, Second Edition, by Peter Westfall, Randy Tobias, and Russell Wolfinger; and SAS Statistics by Example by Ron Cody.
  • How to become a SAS Press author. If you’ve been thinking of writing a book, she’s your gal for getting started!
  • Where to find the nearest restroom in the demo hall. Very helpful indeed.
  • Which of your favorite authors you’re likely to meet. Shelley can help coordinate getting books signed or post-conference chats with authors you miss.


On the chance that Shelley’s not in the booth (which means she’s either in her hotel room attempting to recover from the heat—we are talking Florida in August after all—or sipping margaritas by the sea), look for editor-in-chief Julie Platt or sales representative Sharon Brandon to help you with all your SAS Publishing needs.
