Our commitment to education continues

Editor's note: Given the global disruption of COVID-19, we’ve made the very difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Summer Teacher Institute. This is an experience we look forward to every year; however, like you, we feel hesitant to plan for in-person events given the evolving unpredictability surrounding this crisis. As a company, we want to be sensitive to the pressing concerns and priorities facing our community. For this reason, we are postponing the retirement of Curriculum Pathways giving parents, teachers, and students full access to thousands of free resources until August 31, 2020. We hope this collection serves as a valuable remote-learning opportunity for you and your students. Collaborating with in-service educators is an invaluable part of our development process. Please continue to stay connected and share your feedback as we roll out our new education program this fall. And, of course, keep an eye out for the 2021 Teacher Institute call for applications.

Do you love integrating data into your classroom?

Are you a computer science education enthusiast? Is project-based learning your preferred instructional strategy? Are you passionate about the Global Goals? Then, we want YOU to apply to the 2020 Teacher Institute.

At SAS, our commitment to education isn’t reserved for students alone. We care deeply about supporting educators, and we rely on in-service teachers to shape our initiatives and products. For these reasons, we're excited to host our fifth cohort of educators this summer at SAS headquarters in Cary, NC. Teacher Institute participants will work closely with our team for eight weeks to critically evaluate our current resources, consult on new initiatives, and iterate on their own ideas for the next big resource.
