Yan is an Analytics R&D Director leading the Operations Research and IML group at SAS. He is passionate about developing analytics and AI technologies, including optimization, network analytics, machine learning and numerical computing. He enjoys solving real-world analytics problems in collaborations with clients and partner teams. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Lehigh University and a B.S./M.Sc. from Fudan University, China.
NeurIPS 2022 allowed researchers and practitioners to share progress and brainstorm new ideas for advancing machine learning and its related fields.
