Did you know one of the attendees' favorite events at SAS Global Forum is to meet our bestselling authors?
This year at SAS Global Forum 2016 we are planning a "Top Tips from Your Favorite SAS Press Authors" lunch where we will ask 3 or 4 authors to present a top tip or two, talk a little about publishing a book with SAS Press, and then invite questions from the audience.
Since not everyone can attend the conference, we've put together the Author Spotlight series so no one misses out on this great insight from SAS authors.
Our SAS Press authors are very special people. Not only do they have the expertise and technical skill, they can tell a good story and are amazing teachers. To get to know some of these superstars we will be featuring short videos over the next few months. Here we ask them about their experience writing a book, how it changed their lives, and one thing not many people know about them!SAS Author Spotlight: Art Carpenter #SASBooks Click To Tweet
To start off with a swing it is appropriate to begin with Art Carpenter, who wrote one of the very first books for SAS Press (or Book for users as it was known back then). Art has written six books for SAS Press and is currently writing his seventh! Watch and learn a little more about Art and his experience with SAS Press.
After watching if you are inspired to write a book we’d love to hear from you – just send us a brief outline – that’s all it takes to get started!

Yes - thanks Nina - it was BBU back then :)
Sian,
As Art knows, the press was BBU, Books By Users, and we loved them!
