Five questions with Camille Coles

0

Camille Coles is a Regional Marketing Manager for SAS Asia Pacific.

What are you working on right now?

I am finalizing an Asia Pacific Marketing Induction Check List. This will ensure all new marketers to SAS in the Asia Pacific region know what they need to know and where to find it.

What are you reading?

I'm in between browsing through the magazine Haute Couture and finishing a marketing strategy book by Hugh Macfarlane entitled The Leaky Funnel. This business novel is packed with key arguments for a major change in the way businesses organize and manage their combined sales and marketing resources.

Who did you talk to at lunch today (or yesterday) and what did you talk about?

I talked to my Macedonian friend, Chris, who came over to check out our new Moto Guzzi bike. We talked about how his international jeans store venture in Shanghai is growing.

Tell us about one of your favourite experiences with a SAS customer.

One of my favorite memories was when Mr. Kasi of Affin Bank Malaysia approached me to say he loves SAS and the team with which he works. This was at the recent Asian Banker Summit in Hanoi and it definitely had to be a highlight as he wasn't even one of our paid guests!

What do you do to unwind after a long day's work?

I live to eat rather than eat to live. At the end of the day I look forward to a great meal. I'm spoiled with so many choices - the best of Toko (Japanese), Harbour side (Indian), Nu's (Thai), Piato (Greek), and Delicado (Spanish) - all within my nearby neighborhood in Sydney.
