Unofficial Official Guide to SAS Global Forum - Hurry, hurry, hurry

You know this always happens. You try to plan for everything. You make lists and check them off and still, you forget something. Well, SAS Gloal Forum is a big event and you are probably thinking of a thousand things at once.

Here's some last minute information to help you out in case you have to register in a hurry, you've forgotten your notes about onsite transportation or that there's a mobile app.

Agenda builders: mobile, old-school

This year, SAS Global Forum is happy to offer a conference mobile app to attendees. For iPad and iPhone users, please search under SAS Global Forum in the app store, the name of the app may appear to be SASGF12. For all other smartphone users, please access the mobile URL: m.myiwf.com/sasgf.  The app provides information about the conference and venues, including a full agenda of all presentations. (As with many apps uploads, please ensure that your operating system is up-to-date before downloading the app.)

You can also plan your time at SAS Global Forum with the Agenda Builder. The Agenda Builder allows you to log in and search the papers, posters and workshops day, category, company, country, industry, paper type, section, skill level or speaker. You can build and save a personalized agenda that you export to your calendar or print out to carry with you.

Conference Registration will be located in the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort – Lobby, Level 3.

Saturday, April 21, 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 22, 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Monday, April 23, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 24, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 25, 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Transportation to and from Airport

Airport/Hotel Shuttle Service

MEARS Motor Shuttle operates shared ride van shuttle service from the Orlando International Airport to local hotels (except Disney properties ...  see Disney's Magical Express below). SAS Global Forum is offering a $4 discount ticket for round-trip tickets. Tickets to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and the Gaylord Palms are:

  • Adult (age 12 and older) - $30 (round-trip)
  • Child (ages 4 - 11) - $23 (round-trip)

Disney's Magical Express (Disney's Coronado Springs Resort & Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Only)

This service offers free airport shuttle service, luggage delivery and airline check-in for Disney hotel guests. The service is only valid for Orlando International Airport. This service must be booked through disneyworld.com or Disney Reservation Center by calling 407-W-DISNEY, 407-939-4686 or 407-827-6777. Be sure to have your arriving and departing flight number and your arrival and departing time into and out of the Orlando International Airport.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and the Gaylord Palms are about 25 miles from the Orlando International airport and the average one-way taxi fare is $60 - $70.

Car Rental

National and Enterprise car rental are the official car rental suppliers for SAS Global Forum and are offering discounted group rates. To book your reservations for National Car Rental call 1-877-222-9058 or for Enterprise Car Rental call 1-800-261-7331 and give them discount CD# L075250.

Parking at the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Resort

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resorts charge $11 plus tax for each day and overnight parking. Valet parking is $18 plus tax each day and overnight. Day parking is $12 inclusive of tax for each exit. Additional charges may apply for resort guests who are not staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin .

Complimentary Conference Shuttle Service

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, Coronado Springs Resort and the Gaylord Palms during the conference. Listed are dates and hours of the service.
