No tutus just Twitter

2

This morning I’m having flashbacks about tutus and ballet recitals, high school musicals, local pre-dawn television interviews, and live SAS Press webinars. However, this time the butterflies have mostly migrated, there are no fun costumes, and I’m going to be seated behind my desk. And, most importantly, I’m feeling confident about this afternoon’s event.

Today from 2-2:30 p.m. EDT, SAS Publishing is hosting its first live Twitter discussion. Anyone with a twitter account will be able to fire off questions to our talented SAS Press author recruiter Shelley Sessoms and authors Angela Hall and Tricia Aanderud who are currently working on their new book Building Business Intelligence Using SAS®: Content Development Examples.

By following hashtag #SASPress, you’ll be able to participate in or follow our conversation about getting published, the writing process, which book topics are currently hot, and more. Although I really have no idea how many people will be joining our discussion, I know that Shelley, Angela, and Tricia will be lively participants and I’m looking forward to working with them.

If you’d like to follow along today, or just follow any of us on Twitter in general, here’s the scoop:

@SASPublishing
@SSessoms
@angelahall1
@taanderud

Remember, use the hashtag #SASPress to follow along and stay tuned for a post about today’s experience--to come later this week!
