SAS turns 35 today

So we all know that "35" is the "new 24". Or something like that. In any event, my incredible employer SAS celebrates its 35th anniversary today and has retained its youthful cutting-edge viability while combining it with the wisdom that comes with longevity. And the company culture within SAS reflects its external appearance.

Whether you’ve worked at SAS for 1 year or 30, from your first day in employee orientation you realize how very fortunate you are to be here. And now (in my case) almost 7 years later—I still feel lucky and sort of new. Many of my colleagues have worked for SAS a lot longer than I have. And many SAS users that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting have been using SAS for years and years. However, regardless of one's own SAS age (whether an employee or a new user), the company remains a dynamic leader in innovation.

For fun, try to guess the collective "SAS" age of all of the SAS Publishing employees and summer interns who kindly volunteered to appear in this photo...Post your comments here!
