Apparently the prolonged use of OxyContin will give you a pompous and surley demeanor, and make you say a lot of really ignorant things. So I implore you, dear readers, to withhold your use of such a substance, preserve your good attitude and brain cells, and participate in a research study at the Lancaster Centre for Forecasting.
Supply Chain Forecasting: Best Practices & Benchmarking study (call for participants)
Most of you are already familiar with the two directors of the LCF: Robert Fildes and Sven Crone. Robert and Sven have made major contributions to the forecasting field, and Sven co-chaired last fall's Analytics2011 event in Orlando (that drew over 1000 attendees).
Matt Weller, a PhD student at the Centre, provided this about the study:
Lancaster Centre for Forecasting’s research is attracting considerable practitioner interest and is already providing some new insights in Supply Chain Forecasting practice under S&OP, VMI and CPFR. Additional participants with sound knowledge of forecasting in a specific organisation or business unit are sought for the web-based survey. All completed respondents will receive a copy of the results.
Visit the study website or contact matt.weller@lancaster.ac.uk for additional information.
Subscribe to the LCF mailing list to hear about their latest research and activities.
