SAS' Jonathan Moran - a virtual introduction


As a new contributor to SAS' Customer Analytics blog, I want to take the opportunity to virtually introduce myself. My name is Jonathan Moran, and I’m relatively new to the world of Product Marketing at SAS. However, what I’m not new to is assisting customers in answering important questions like:

  • What is the best way to create a single view of our customers?
  • How can we uncover insights about our customers and their behaviors to drive our marketing decisions?
  • What are the best strategies for executing integrated, cross-channel communications?
  • How can we best develop and view metrics to measure and improve our marketing efforts?

After over 10 years in this space, with experience in marketing, pre-sales and professional services roles, I hope that my input can help to spur conversation around best practices, as well as give some insight into what we are doing within Customer Intelligence at SAS.

I plan on following this post up with insight into some recent rankings we received by Gartner, specifically around multichannel campaign management. Later, I'll provide some details on the things we are focused on to stay ahead of the curve as it relates to the future of Customer Intelligence. I hope that this will spur some great conversations!
