Whenever there is data, GDPR comes in play

GDPR is coming at all of us like a fast moving car on a narrow road late at night. At least that’s what it seems like to me sometimes when I see customers come to realize the full implications of the new law and get a stunned look on their face! Unfortunately that “hmm … maybe we’ve been underestimating this thing” reaction is frequently accompanied by a “deer-in-the-headlights” lack of reaction as well: they don’t know where to start, who to turn to for help or even which part of their organization should be responsible for bringing them into compliance!

Here at SAS we’ve been working on a structured, implementation methodology and tool-based approach to GDPR that is helping our customers orient themselves in the maelstrom of GDPR misinformation and adopt a solution that addresses the principal regulatory requirements. We do this using SAS’s award winning Data Management technologies and a Quick Start package of methodology and pre-built framework components to make sure our customers get up and running in as short a time as possible.

In this video I describe the urgency of the situation and how important it is to get started ASAP.
