Kate Thompson is a Launch Program Manager at SAS with a background spanning the arts, technology, coaching, and consulting. Throughout her career, she has helped individuals and teams find clarity, make better decisions, and move ideas forward through facilitation, experience design, leadership coaching, content strategy, and program leadership. She helped launch Contemporary Art Museum Raleigh with the NC State College of Design, led cross-functional initiatives at Red Hat, and has worked independently as a coach and trusted thinking partner. Outside of work, Kate writes and creates handmade items, which she sells through local art markets and online. She lives in Raleigh with her family. Her husband is a professional woodworker, and together they encourage their kids to put down the screens, get curious, and make something.
