Based in Brussels, Kalliopi is a lawyer and public policy expert specializing in international privacy, data, and AI regulation. As Chief Privacy Strategist for EMEA and Asia Pacific at SAS, she engages with regulators and policymakers to shape laws governing digital technology and advises on corporate strategy, product development, and compliance. Kalliopi is a member of SAS’s AI Oversight Committee (AIOC), which provides strategic direction for AI governance and oversight of the company's use and development of AI. She is an appointed member of the Executive Advisory Policy Council at DIGITALEUROPE, the leading trade association for digital industries in Europe. Additionally, she serves on the European Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
