Dr. Greg Massey is a Principal Data Scientist in SAS's Applied AI and Modeling Division. BDS (before data science), he was the Endangered Species Veterinarian for the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources; taught medical students at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine; and responded to emergency events impacting wildlife (for example., he spent three months managing medical care for animals affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill). He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science in Analytics degrees from NC State University. At SAS, he focuses on analyzing the many forms of unstructured data prevalent in the healthcare domain.
