Deidra Peacock, MBA, CPHIMS, is currently the Health Care Portfolio Manager for the SAS Health and Life Sciences Global Practice. Deidra joined the Practice in October 2010, bringing more than 15 years of Healthcare IT experience to the team. Her path in health care was set when she worked in a small physician practice while in college, gaining exposure to all operational facets of practice management. She eventually landed at what is now Allscripts, by way of Medic Computer Systems, then Misys Healthcare Systems, where she initially worked with implementing enterprise practice management systems. Deidra has an MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BA from King College in Bristol, TN.
