Shahrzad Azizzadeh is a Senior Data Scientist in the Applied AI & Modeling Division at SAS. Over the past 12 years, she has designed and implemented forecasting and optimization solutions for the retail, transportation, manufacturing, and renewable energy sectors. Before SAS, she spent more than three years in the oil and gas industry, where she developed analytical and optimization models to improve refined products distribution networks. She holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran.
