Customizing your SAS Enterprise Guide experience at SAS Global Forum 2014

SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Global Forum -- two of my favorite things!  And I get to talk about both of them in this post.

I'm a devoted SAS Enterprise Guide user, and I hope you're learning how useful this tool can be as well. On February 13, I'll be sharing a few of My Favorite SAS Enterprise Guide 5.1 Tricks along with SAS Product Manager I-Kong Fu.  If you're learning SAS Enterprise Guide or just hoping to polish your skills,  please register now for this live (and free) SAS Talks webinar.

And how does my SAS Talks presentation tie into SAS Global Forum 2014?  Well, content is king this year, so I used the conference scheduler's Target Audience Path to find these sessions for the Enterprise Guide User:

  • three hands-on workshops
  • five e-posters
  • conference tutorial
  • quick tips
  • about two dozen breakout papers and presentations.

Wouldn't a list of these opportunities be the perfect way to show your manager the value of attending SAS Global Forum 2014?  Conference organizers have made that task easier by providing a prewritten Justify Your Trip letter to help you get started. If you haven't registered yet, you might also want to mention the Early Bird discount. Business users can save $100 per person on conference fees by registering online before February 24.

If you have registered, there should be an email from SAS Global Forum in your Inbox.  It contains your personal conference ID and password.  Once you've logged in and completed your profile, you can use the scheduler to fit SAS Enterprise Guide presentations into your conference calendar, communicate with presenters and other attendees, and perhaps connect with other SAS Enterprise Guide enthusiasts. We'll be there!
