I'm going to handle this Friday's Innovation Inspiration a bit differently from the way I usually do; rather than helping you find information so that you can try this on your own, I'd like to know what you would use to display fish mating calls. Obviously you would need a few fish who're willing to let you in on their sweet talking. Tell me and the other users in the comment section below.

I don't know if that note was from Lawrence, someone else from the University of Pennsylvania, or someone else altogether. Unfortunately, the SAS in Larry's email address, is for School of Arts and Sciences, not the SAS we're used to seeing.
I think I'd use a high-test "line" plot with a solid "grouper" variable, and then hope that it "scales" well.
