What's SAS, green, and read all over?

1

On St. Patrick’s Day there are green rivers, mugs of green beer, and lots of green outerwear. I’m not sure what percentage of SAS Publishing book covers are green, but it's high. And in all probability for good reason. Besides being the most appealing color to the eye (I didn’t make this up), green symbolizes growth, fertility, and all kinds of nice qualities that tie in with publishing books that can energize one’s career using SAS and/or JMP.

However, there is a darker side to green. It’s not always affiliated with shamrocky goodness. A quick search on Wikipedia reveals the sometimes contradictory nature of green: it’s slang for money, can refer to an inexperienced person, and associated with envy and sometimes even the devil. Fortunately, it does most commonly refer to the natural elements.

So in honor of St. Patrick’s Day and all of our green books written by non-green authors (i.e.: all of our authors ARE experienced users!), I hope that you will join me in thanking your lucky stars for the SAS Publishing guides that have helped you along your journey.
