A few years ago I had the privilege of presenting the last technical paper at SAS Global Forum.
This year, conference chair Andy Kuligowski asked me to go one better than that, and present a talk at the official Closing Session. What will I talk about? That's a mystery (maybe even to me), but I promise that it won't be technical...much.
If you've invested the time and money to attend the conference, don't you agree that it's important to "finish strong"? Don't let your conference experience fizzle out on Wednesday!
Yes, your brain will be full. You might still be feeling the effects of the kick-back party on Tuesday night. But don't let that stand in the way of learning how to keep the SAS magic going all year long. (Or keep you from winning door prizes!)
Who says you can't take it with you? Of course you can. And you can bring it back, too, to next year's conference!
(By the way, I'll also be presenting a technical paper in the *first* schedule slot on Wednesday morning. If you haven't yet gone to bed after the kick-back party, please join me at 8am as well.)

You're the first one in and the last one out ... other than the scenics guys that is! I'm sure your paper will convince a lot of attendees to stick it out to the end and not sneak out before the closing session.
I can't wait to see your closing session! I wonder if I could convince a SAS customer to write a blog post about your paper and closing session for the SAS Users Group blog?! That would be super cool!
Well, Chris, I suspect that none of the Disney characters will be in attendance at the conference (although I haven't checked the attendance list to be certain). SO ... we thought that closing with one of our OWN characters would be entirely appropriate - I'm looking forward to hearing your talk.
Hey there, Chris - why not finish with some EG analysis of the forum; maybe crunch some SGF2012 tweets?
Chris:
We don't want SGF to end - I think we will all come home with you. Please have 3000+ beds and meals ready. ;-)
