Dream big with customer analytics

Our friend Martha Rogers recently blogged about her trip to Arkansas for a Walmart Analytics Day. She says, "I can tell you that up close, the folks here believe the customer is number one. It's even part of the 'cheer' that the hundreds of people here did. Loudly."

You should read the whole post to get a sense of what was covered - including keynotes from Tom Davenport and Colleen McCue - and learn what Martha found most fascinating, but I wanted to share my favorite quote here from her post.

"I have a dream. I dream that every executive who gets up at 4:30 in the morning to check the product sales numbers [will]get up and first check the customer metrics. The company that does that will be unstoppable." - Cindy Davis, executive vice president of global customer insights." 

Now that's a dream that every customer advocate should share. Wouldn't you agree?
