Scott joined at the beginning of 2020 and brings 15 years of Ph.D. level experience from Monsanto and Syngenta in the areas of ag-biotechnology, life sciences and product risk assessment. A common thread of focus throughout is food science, beginning in discovery work in animal ag-tech to find bioactive compounds, and later gaining experience in start-up, entrepreneurial efforts combining product development in safety testing and go-to-market diagnostics. He will be taking the experience of marrying interpretative data needs with data collection and study design into the SAS AgTech team.
