Annette Green has managed the German, Austrian, and Swiss operations of SAS in her role as vice president of the DACH region since January 1, 2019. Green has been part of the global SAS team for nearly 30 years. Before returning to her native Germany, she held many leadership positions in sales and marketing during her career at SAS corporate headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, most recently as vice president of the Commercial Division. From 2005 to 2015, she achieved success managing a business unit focused on vertical sales to large organizations (annual revenues in excess of US $1 billion) as its general manager. In her prior role as general manager of the East Business Unit, she managed a team of more than 100 employees and expanded the unit’s focus to the entire US East Coast geography. During her long tenure at SAS, Green has acquired extensive experience in working with global enterprises. Green holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from North Carolina State University, where she also completed graduate-level studies in the School of Management Sciences.
