With 135 presentations in 11 different sections, you’ll have the chance to expand your SAS know-how and network with fellow SAS professionals.

SAS User groups have been instrumental for my career. I always learn something new at each conference and it’s amazing to see what others can accomplish with SAS. These conferences have sparked many new ideas that I’ve taken back on the job. Without SAS user groups, I don’t think I would’ve achieved the same level of professional success.

Why MWSUG?

I got involved in MWSUG because regional conferences have a lot to offer. You learn content that’s similar to what you’d find at SAS Global Forum, but the smaller scale means you can easily interact with presenters and participants.

With sections on popular topics like Data Visualization, Customer Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and more, attendees will be brought up to speed with the latest innovations. Those in Banking/Financial services and Pharmaceutical industries, take note! There are special sections just for you. Check out the full list of sections and presenters to see what speaks to your interests and business areas.

First-time presenters and new conference goers shouldn’t worry.  MWSUG has a culture of collaboration and dedicated committee members who enjoy mentoring first-time presenters, students and junior professionals.

Guided learning

One of our biggest draws this year are the two Hands On Workshops (HOW) sections.  In each session, conference attendees can learn from world-class SAS trainers in the state-of-the-art Chicago SAS Training Center.

Hands On Workshops immediately solidify new skills. You don’t have to wait to go back to the office to try something new. And the SAS trainers are right there to answer your questions and guide your progress.

Cruise on the Spirit of Chicago

Don’t miss this year’s networking event—a dinner cruise in the Chicago Harbor with breath-taking views of the Chicago skyline. You’ll enjoy dinner, drinks and have the opportunity to network with your fellow conference-goers. A DJ and a dance floor offer a place to let loose, but for those who seek something more low-key, quieter areas are available for chatting and catching up.
