SAS Global Forum Conference Chair, Call for Papers deadline

0

Howdy.

This is Andrew T. (Andy) Kuligowski, the SAS Global Forum 2012 Conference Chair. I’ve been using SAS® for more than 20 years – OK, a LOT more than 20 – and attended my first SAS Global Forum (then called SUGI, SAS Users Groups International) in Dallas, Texas back in 1987. I’ve presented at many user group events since then, covering more than half of the states in the US, and visiting more than half of the Canadian provinces – all for the chance to stay close to other members of the SAS community and continue to grow as a SAS user.

I like presenting. I like realizing that I’ve helped someone gain some knowledge in SAS, and I like discovering that I’ve learned something in the process, as well.

Don’t just take my word for it. Your chance to experience that feeling is here. The call for papers for SAS Global Forum 2012 is underway! We have many abstracts pouring in, but we certainly have room for more. If you haven’t submitted your paper proposal yet, the deadline is approaching swiftly. Paper proposals must be submitted by November 14!

Your proposal should include a title, an abstract and working draft of your paper or poster. You can get some great tips for writing your draft and final paper here.

Good luck with your paper submission.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in Orlando this coming April!
