Have you found the SAS Software Product pages yet? These pages centralize several different resources for products or solutions on the SAS support site. You get to them by selecting Knowledge Base -> SAS Software -> Product A-Z Listing.

These Product pages have everything—the latest product news, a product definition, a summary of the system requirements, documentation, training, SAS samples and SAS Notes, and even blogs, Focus Areas, and Discussion Forums—all in one location for one-stop shopping. The Product Web pages and the Documentation Web pages both have A-Z indexes, yet the Product pages provide technical resources from across SAS.

We wrote these Product pages for you, the SAS technical audience. These are our assumptions: You already have the product licensed and available to use at your site. You’re looking on the Software Product pages for how to get the latest news, to use the product more effectively and, for example, to get some classes. If you were to go to the SAS Forecast Server page, you would see an announcement about new Hot Fixes being available, and that the SAS Press has just published new books about SAS Forecast Server that are available from the Bookstore. If you select the Documentation Tab, you would see a more inclusive list of SAS Documentation: SAS Press books, SAS Course Notes from training classes, the Product’s user guides and reference material, and particularly useful technical papers from SAS Technical Support and the SAS Global Forum conference in 2010.

In the last few months, we have added about 20 new pages to the Software Product site, and more will be added each month. If your favorite product or solution does not have a page yet, know that it will be coming soon.
