For the past couple of school terms I've had the privilege to speak to high school students about SAS. I first blogged about this back in March of 2007. The title of my presentation is "The Many Applications of SAS", where "applications" is an overloaded word. We talk about the great variety of work that people accomplish with SAS, as well as the various SAS products (applications) they use to get it done. You can now see something similar over at the sascom site.
The program that brought SAS programming into this local high school has been so successful that it's going national. You can see the write-ups in the local Raleigh news and also in this WSJ MarketWatch article.
Graduating from high school, today's students at Tulane are learning about their standard for statistics education, SAS Enterprise Guide. Hopefully they'll be able to keep up with the high-schoolers.
