SAS® Viya® continues to evolve to meet your customers’ needs for easier, more powerful advanced analytics. With Viya 3.5 available and the next, cloud-native version of Viya quickly approaching general availability, now is the time to evaluate your Viya skill set and prepare for the future. SAS is making it easy to shore up any gaps by offering all training courses for free (including virtual labs) to partners for a limited time. This includes brand new courses for Viya 3.5 and existing Viya 3.4 resources that will be essential for the next version of Viya and beyond. You can learn more about the available courses on the “What’s New” tab on the Viya Learning Board on PartnerNet.
A “SAS Viya Training Update” has been developed to help partners evaluate new courses as they are released. This resource highlights new features, recaps changes to existing tools and most importantly, outlines the best training path for you and your team to take based on prior experience deploying, administrating and programming in SAS Viya. This resource is currently available for the Course: SAS Viya 3.5: Core Topics on Architecture, Installation, Data Management, Administration, Visualization, Programming, and Analytics. We will continue to expand this resource to outline training paths by role and help you quickly identify “What’s New” without having to review each new training course. This will be particularly true for partners that have already taken past Viya training courses as these Viya 3.5 courses will include new features in them that are highly applicable to each version of Viya and will contribute to your understanding of all future SAS Viya releases moving forward.
