I have a dataset of items, two variables per item; so two axis for the plot. Roughly 350 items; so 350 points in the plot, one per item. I do not want a long list of the 350 items to display below the plot or somewhere. When viewed on screen, I want the user to be able to (1) hover the mouse on a point and see the name of the item and (2) click on the point to go to an separate detailed report and visualization about the item. How do I get Visual Analytics to provide that experience for the user?
