A successful trip to London

Analytics 2013 in LondonThose of you who read these posts regularly might remember I planned to attend Analytics 2013 in London. I did get to attend, and am back in the states (though not fully adjusted to the Eastern time zone).

This was a wonderful conference. Three great keynote presentations, over 40 analytical sessions, and numerous networking opportunities. We had a small book area that stayed consistently busy throughout the two days. I thought I might get to attend sessions, and I did on the first day. But the conversations in and around the books were too great to miss. So I stuck around the book area on day 2, and met some fantastic SAS customers. Quite a few folks expressed interest in learning about our publishing program, and 10 hearty souls asked that I send them information on how to get started on the book writing process. I hope to be able to announce some new authors as a result of this conference. So, stay tuned!

And if you didn’t get a chance to attend the conference, but want information on writing a book, let me know. I’ll be happy to talk about any and all book ideas.
