Another successful JSM

SAS author Ron Snee with new book he coauthored

The recent JSM conference was a huge success. This was my fourth JSM, and I have to say I think this was the best one I’ve attended. More than 5,500 statisticians, consultants, students and the like descended upon San Diego.

Despite the perfect, sunny weather, the SAS Books booth stayed busy. We tried to keep attendees engaged and interested in our offerings…we had books to browse, giveaways, Twitter contests and much more. And with the steady stream of booth traffic, I’d say we succeeded.

I talked to numerous attendees about our books. Many were excited to see Maura Stokes’ new book, Categorical Data Analysis Using SAS, Third Edition for sale. And quite a few of our authors stopped by the booth. It’s always good to get some face-to-face time with our authors. After all, they are the reason SAS Books has such a huge following.

I’m already looking forward to next year’s conference in Montreal. I hope to see you there! In the meantime, visit our SAS Training and Books Facebook page to view our complete JSM photo album.
