New Certification Record Set

Records were made to be broken, and the SAS Professionals Convention continues to break them year after year.  Held each year at SAS UK headquarters in Marlow, this three day conference provides an opportunity for SAS professionals to network with peers, learn about the latest SAS technologies, hear from industry leaders, and also challenge a SAS certification exam. While the second and third days of the conference follow a traditional format (keynotes and presentations), the first day of the conference focused on the certification exams.  In the previous years' conferences, one exam session was scheduled for the afternoon of opening day.  This was preceded by a series of exam preparation and coaching sessions spread over several weeks and continuing right up to the time of the exams.  This year, due to huge demand, a second exam sitting and additional prep sessions were added. In total, 120 people took a SAS certification exam yesterday at the SAS Professionals Convention, breaking the previous record for a SAS testing event of 105 set at the 2009 convention.

If you haven't been to this conference yet, check out this year's agenda and considering making plans for next year's conference to be held July 10-12, 2012.  Maybe you will even get to see the ducks!
