Save user frustration by adding the magic 'Log (back) In' button

2

SAS Web Application Infrastructure automatically logs users out of the system after a predesignated amount of time. Unless the user has the URL bookmarked, they have to retype the Web Application URL. There is a much less frustrating way for users to get back in, allow the user login button to appear magically on the screen.

All the administrator needs to do, from SAS Management Console, is to expand the 'SAS Application Infrastructure' properties, jump to the 'Settings' tab, and within 'Policies' change the default 'No' to 'Yes' for the options:

  1. Allow user login from web logoff page
  2. Allow user login from web timeout page

  2. Hello there (I couldn't find your e-mail so I am writing this here)
I'd like to invite you to add your blog to the new:http://sas-x.com/Website.

It's a news website, all dedicated to SAS, based on bloggers content.
I am it's founder, and I created it after creating a similar (and somewhat successful) such website around the topic of R programming. That website can be seen at:http://www.r-bloggers.com/
If you are interested in joining, you can simply add your site at:http://sas-x.com/add-your-blog/

    Best wishes,Tal
