In order to promote WRS reports through Dev-Test-Prod, the BI Manager provides a good export/import wizard. However the SAME information map is being called for this one WRS report. What if the information map is also being moved through Dev-Test-Prod?

Take the .srx export file created for the WRS export, open with a text editor and update the Information Map location within the XML. Import this changed file into the next system.

Note: If the information map is in the same tree structure and named the same, this edit is probably not necessary.

Note 2: If the information map isnt the same metadata, meaning the data element names/labels are different, you run the risk of completely crashing the WRS report!
