When creating a filter on a numeric value in Information Map Studio, the query doesn't include the filter when used in Web Report Studio. The classification of the variable must be changed from "Measure" to "Category". (Measure is automatically used for incoming numeric values.)

For instance, SASHELP.SHOES has a 'Number of Stores' variable that is represented numerically. We would like to create an information map that only shows large subsidiaries (with more than 20 stores). If you add a filter on 'Number of Stores' > 20, this will not work properly.

Therefore right click on the 'Number of Stores' variable and change the classification to "Category". Everything will then work peachy.
