A few years back we were in Orlando for the Blended and Online Learning Symposium. In addition to our conference sessions, we had the opportunity to introduce new users to Curriculum Pathways in our booth. Again and again we heard the same refrain, "You can’t really be free!"
Actually we get that a lot. With over 1,700 online, standards-based resources and a growing library of mobile apps, it is sometimes difficult for educators to believe that we provide all of this for free. And yet it is just that simple:
Curriculum Pathways is provided to educators, students, and families in public and private schools at no cost.
When we provide that straightforward and honest answer, the follow-up question usually comes quickly, "How?" The answer to this is also fairly simple. Our parent company, SAS Institute Inc., is one of the largest privately held software companies in the world, providing "Big Data" solutions to industry and government worldwide. The leadership of the company is committed to the support of educators. SAS CEO Dr. Jim Goodnight explained that commitment in this 2011 video.
Curriculum Pathways offers over 1,700 interactive, standards-based resources in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and Spanish. Check out everything you've been missing.
