5 tips for data scientists on improving your visibility

0

It’s been a full eight years since HBR declared that data scientists hold the sexiest job of the 21st century. Yet, here we are in 2021, and the work of data scientists is still found outside the spotlight in many settings. Younger data scientists, in particular, can find it hard to get their ideas heard in complex organizations.

We asked some of our more experienced SAS users to offer tips for achieving greater visibility in their organizations. If you feel like it’s hard to be seen or heard within your role, consider their advice.

SAS offers many ways to network with other users and data scientists. In fact, these answers were gathered through our Analytics Explorers program, where SAS users, advocates and fans can learn, communicate and earn rewards for their actions. Sign up for Analytics Explorers today to get more tips, compete in challenges and earn points toward prizes.

If community collaboration is more your speed, SAS Support Communities offer a great platform for meeting SAS users, asking questions and offering advice to others.
