In my first two posts of this blog series, we heard why two students chose to pursue a STEM field and what appealed to them about data science. We also heard how they put their knowledge to work on a real-world data science project.

Today, we'll hear their advice to future data science students, as well as their advice to professors or colleges to foster more interest in data science. In addition, they’ll share how SAS played a role in their studies and how they see the use of analytics changing or expanding in the future.

This post is part of a blog series featuring professors and students discussing why universities encourage an interest in data science, their university analytics programs, how SAS plays a role – and more. There’s one more professor post to come, so stay tuned!
