How we use social media internally at SAS

0

Does your company have an internal social network, wiki or blog network? We have all three - and more - on the SAS intranet. Karen Lee, Director of Internal Communications at SAS, was recently interviewed by World at Work about the use of social media internally at SAS. In this video, she discusses the benefits of these projects and the risks - and offers good tips for other companies that are just getting started:

I can tell you personally that I have an internal blog where I share tips about blogging for SAS employees. I use our wiki and Sharepoint sites for sharing meeting notes and tracking progress on projects. And I used the internal social network "The Hub" to create a blogger discussion group that includes active members that are both internal and external bloggers. But that's just me. A lot of other SAS employees are finding their own unique ways to use these platforms to make their jobs easier and to share information with colleagues around the world. How do you use social media internally where you work?
