Then it occurs to me that it seems like everything has the phrase "real-time" associated with it these days – your SAS® software included.

Take the slew of news announced recently at The Premier Business Leadership Series in Antwerp, Belguim, for example. The latest updates to SAS Fraud Management for banking and risk management software for both banks and insurance companies emphasize their real-time scoring of accounts and real-time decision support systems for business users and executives. Other technologies such as high-performance computing analyze huge amounts of data in parallel and deliver answers to complex business problems in real time. Everything is getting faster every day. Can we all keep up? One thing's for certain: Such sophisticated software will help.
