BBC Radion 4 and the SAS Professionals Convention

0

I'm an avid listener to BBC Radio 4, and have been for a good couple of decades. I wake up to the Today programme, the shipping forecast helps me sleep, and now - with the advent of podcasts - I listen to all my favourite programmes in the car and on the tube.

On my subscription list is 'In Our Time', ''Beyond Belief'' and, of course, 'More or Less'. I have to confess that I don't listen to 'The Archers' though, sorry. At last year's SAS professionals convention were addressed by Tim Harford, presenter of 'More or Less' and FT journalist.

This year, we'll be entertained and illuminated by Michael Blastland. Michael came up with the idea for More or Less and recently presented 'The Story of Economics'. You can still listen to it here. Michael has also co-authored two books on the popular use of numbers, and writes a column for the BBC online magazine

I'm looking forward to meeting him. I hope you will too.
