I just returned from my 3 weeks summer vacation and getting adjusted to coming to work again hasn't been easy. They say it gets better over time, though.

My main job here in Finland is focusing on the SAS 9 architecture, including installation, integration, security and implementation. My platform of choice is the mainframe but I also very much enjoy working with Unix. Hopefully I can write about some interesting things that happen in my work, after I get back into work mode, that is.

I don't intend to write about suicide squirrels such as this one who tried to take out a Finnish opera singer.
