Feeling the energy

After days, weeks, months spent sitting behind a computer I sometimes have a hard time envisioning our customers. This can be bad because I write newsletters designed for them every month. I respond to their email inquiries...but sometimes can't picture a face to go along with a name. Today, I leave SAS Global Forum 2007 with more than 3,700 faces in my mind. Faces of new SAS users and users with more than 25 years of experience. Their faces and experiences are all different, but their spirit is the same. They love SAS.

And their enthusiasm is infectious. Their comments of, "I never knew I could do this with SAS." or "This is going to save me so much time." or better yet, "My whole office is going to cheer when I tell them about this new functionality." have me walking a little taller. I'm excited to work for a company that creates such energy. It's a wonderful feeling, and one I hope will last until I have the opportunity to spend more time with our wonderful customers.
