Danish health care sectorIn Denmark, the government has formed eight national quality goals (link to Danish pdf) to make sure that all actors in the health care sector work with similar goals that are beneficial to patients. The overall purpose is to express a common politically ambitious direction for developing the Danish health care sector.

This is a fantastic vision. But demonstrating what you achieve as a health care leader to improve the sector is much more complicated. As the Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen recently said*: “Politicians at Christiansborg often forget that it is complicated and takes time to implement political decisions and visions in real life.”

Luckily these challenges can be solved.
