The MidWest SAS Users Group (MWSUG) is offering student scholarships to attend this year’s conference. Business leaders, SAS users and student and faculty from across the Midwest attend this conference.
If you are a student using SAS for coursework or research, this is a great place to present a paper or poster and showcase your knowledge and skills. If you are still relatively new to SAS, this is a great way to learn tips and techniques that you can immediately apply.
MWSUG will be held September 16-18 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There are hands-on workshops, presentations, posters, and social events for you to participate in. You can even take a SAS Certification exam if you’re ready to earn your certification. If you’re not ready but are interested in certification, the conference includes the opportunity to take a free practice exam in the demo hall.
The Student Scholarship application process is open and the deadline to submit is July 16th. There are two levels of scholarships available and the full scholarship includes a travel stipend. For the full scholarship you will need to submit an abstract to the conference. The deadline to submit an abstract is June 8th.
Student scholarship winners are always a big hit at MWSUG. This is one way to build your resume and meet potential employers. Hear from one of last year's MWSUG student scholarship winners:
