Students in schools around the world are using SAS in their studies. For some, completing the course and moving onto the next semester is the goal. For others, discussing their findings and sharing their work is the plan. This is a hallmark of research. Adding to the body of knowledge and helping advance the discipline is the ultimate reward for a well-executed research project.
SAS is committed to supporting student researchers. The SAS Student Ambassador Program recognizes the top student users of SAS for student research. This competitive program provides students the opportunity to have their travel and hotel expenses and registration fees paid when they present their research at SAS Global Forum. Student winners are officially recognized as SAS Student Ambassadors.
The application process is now open for the next group of SAS Student Ambassadors. The winners will present their research at SAS Global Forum in April, 2012 in Orlando, Florida. The deadline for submissions is November 14, 2011.
