Let SAS Certification Come To You

When candidates take a SAS Global Certification exam, they usually travel to one of more than 4,500 Prometric test centers located around the globe - but that isn’t always the case.  There are a growing number of Universities that deliver SAS exams on-campus as part of their course offerings.

Here’s how it works.  If a University is conducting a course that has a SAS component, we can arrange delivery of an appropriate SAS certification exam on-campus for the students taking that particular course.  We establish a proctor agreement to allow the professor to proctor the exam in person while we monitor exam activity from our location.  The exam sessions usually occur at the end of a semester and each student/candidate takes the exam using a PC with internet access.  The exam being taken is the same as if the candidate were at a Prometric site and is scored in exactly the same manner.  Of course, we provide codes, passwords and monitoring to ensure the testing session is conducted in a secure manner.

Universities can offer any of the SAS certification exams including Base and Advanced Programming, Predictive Modeling Using SAS Enterprise Miner, and exams on Administration, Data Management and BI Content Development.  See the SAS Global Certification web site for a full listing.

Oklahoma State University, North Carolina State University, the University of Central Florida, Purdue University and others are taking advantage of this approach to integrate SAS Certification into their curriculum and provide exam access for their students.  So, if you are delivering a course with a SAS component and are interested in providing a SAS exam on-campus for your students, contact us at certification@sas.com to determine if this program is a good fit for you.
