Less me, more blog

0

For the past 9 months I’ve been sharing my insights into pre-conference planning, and now things are really ramping up for SAS Global Forum. What does that mean for blog readers? You’ll likely see fewer posts from me – but more from some of my fellow SAS bloggers:

Anne-Lindsay Beall has been bringing you the SAS Global Forum Daily News since 2005. Once a print newsletter, the publication is now delivered via e-mail, linking primarily to items in this blog.

• Most of you know Waynette Tubbs from the SAS Tech Report e-newsletter. Or you may have met her on Twitter. Watch for Waynette to write a whole series of posts featuring conference presenters. She’ll also be contributing to the SAS Global Forum Daily News and co-hosting the video series Inside SAS Global Forum.

Brendan Bailey, a veteran Video Communications and New Media employee at SAS, will continue his role in making the blog come alive with various video clips.

Dave Thomas is our social media manager at SAS. He’s been teaching us all a lot about listening and communicating with customers online, and he’s even spent some of his weekend hours talking to the SAS Global Forum board about social media. He’ll be contributing here during the conference, and – along with Waynette – you’ll see him doing live video interviews as well.

The postings on the blog are going to increase, and you’ll be hearing from all of these folks at some point. I’m looking forward to reading their content, and I hope you are too.
